The Pursuit Engine provides career-search support, including career profiling, tailored resumes and cover letters, role and hiring-contact research, pipeline tracking, and interview and offer preparation. Specific deliverables depend on the service tier you select.
The Pursuit Engine is currently available to clients residing in the United States and Canada only. I reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to anyone outside this area, or to modify this availability at any time.
I am not a recruiter, a staffing agency, or an employer. I make no guarantee that you will obtain interviews, offers, or employment, or any particular compensation. Hiring decisions rest solely with third-party employers. What I provide is the machinery, effort, and honest guidance of a professional career search.
Fees for each Pursuit Credits pack are described on my site and at the time of purchase; packs are one-time, prepaid purchases, not a subscription. A small number of legacy clients remain on an earlier recurring engagement predating Pursuit Credits; those are billed in advance and may be canceled per the terms of that specific agreement. Specific engagement terms are provided in your service agreement where applicable.
From time to time I may offer free promotional trials. Unless stated otherwise in the offer itself: no payment method is collected, nothing converts to a paid subscription automatically, and the trial simply ends on its stated end date. Documents built for you during a trial are yours to keep.
Pursuit Credits are a prepaid balance, not a subscription. A credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash. Purchased and granted credits roll over and do not expire. Credits are non-refundable, both once spent and while still unused on your balance; purchasing a pack is a final purchase decision. If you land a role with credits still on your balance, you may gift the remaining balance, once, to a friend you refer who is still searching; outside of that one-time transfer, credits are not transferable between accounts.
Documents I prepare for you (such as your resume, cover letters, and tracker) become yours upon payment. The Pursuit Engine name, logo, methods, templates, prompts, systems, and know-how remain my property. Nothing in these terms transfers my underlying system to you. Kit and toolkit materials are licensed for your own personal job search only and may not be reproduced, resold, redistributed, reverse-engineered, or used as the basis for a competing product or service offered to others.
My service uses AI tools to help prepare drafts and research, always with human oversight, and you review and approve everything before it is used.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding a claim, and I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income or lost employment opportunities.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
